All three formats put a place to sleep on a ute. The difference is how much camper you want, and how much of your ute you are willing to give to it.
Canopy or Pop-Up Canopy
Clamps to the tub rails — no drilling — and leaves the bed floor free. A plain canopy gives you secure storage; the pop-up version adds a tent bed in the roof. Lightest, lowest cost, and the ute still works as a ute every day.

Slide-On (Slide-On in Australia)
A complete camper body with its own floor and interior that slides into the bed and ties down. More comfort — seating, table, storage, optional kitchen and power — and it comes out again when you need the bed back.
Tray / Tray camper
For utes running a flat tray. No wheel arches means a wider, squarer body with outside lockers. The most living space, and the most commitment: the tray replaces the factory tub.

Quick rule of thumb
- Weekend trips and a daily-driver ute: Pop-Up Canopy.
- Longer trips, two people, more comfort: Slide-On / Slide-On.
- Long-range travel on a tray-back ute: Tray / Tray camper.
Whichever you choose, payload matters. Check your ute's rated payload and tell us what else you carry — we will help you size the camper accordingly.
